Dr.Hombalegowda graduated from Bangalore Medical College in India and completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at JIPMER,India. She then moved to the United States and continued her educational journey. She completed her residency at Monmouth Medical Center, in New Jersey, where she served as a chief resident. She is very excited to now be in Northern California and enjoys providing comprehensive health care to the diverse patient population in the San Joaquin County. During residency, she earned SASGOG resident Faculty award in 2019 and academic achievement awards for two consecutive years in 2020 and 2021.Her research projects were recognized and presented at national meetings including ACOG and PCRS. She is also the recipient of many awards for research and scholarly activities during her residency at Monmouth Medical center.

She has a great passion for women’s health. Her mission is to be accessible to her patients while providing the compassionate and high quality patient care. Her professional interests include high risk obstetrics and minimally invasive surgery.
