I was raised in Stockton and attended school here. My mother was a nurse and worked in obstetrics and in the operating room. Our dinner time conversation often revolved around her experiences. After taking several biology classes I was hooked and decided I wanted to become a nurse. I attended Brigham Young University where I earned my BSN. After graduation, I had hoped to work in obstetrics but was unable to find an opening. I worked at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah. Most of my experience was on the medical/surgical floors. My husband and I moved to Fresno for him to continue his schooling in 1974. I applied for an open position at the Fresno County Public Health Department. I worked for their Home Health Agency. We returned to Stockton in 1981 where I worked in the hospital and then returned to Public Health. I loved seeing the expectant mothers in their homes and teaching them about their pregnancies. I was given the opportunity to further my education by becoming a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and returned to school. I worked at San Joaquin General Hospital in their OB clinic before joining Drs. Jasbir and Param Gill. I have been with the practice since January of 1994 and have learned so much from Dr. Param Gill. I enjoy the women that I have been able to meet in this practice and continue to learn from them every day. The years have flown by and now I have had the opportunity of seeing three generations of the same families.
In my spare time I enjoy staying in touch with our four children, most of which live out of state. We have been blessed to have ten healthy grandchildren who keep their parents hopping. I also love to read and travel. Exercise is an important part of my life. We love boating and wakeboarding.
